The Company The Global Foodservice Institute was formed in 2010 with a mission to provide food service certification and training to a wide array of customers, military and civilian, large corporations and small, front of the house and back. E. H. Manley and Associates, which has been providing management and marketing services since 1989, is the provider of the training and certification testing. Our primary client was the International Food Service Executives Association (IFSEA), and now is Research and Development Associates (R&DA). We also offer consulting and the sale of relevant items through the Workaholics International Network.In 2001 we began marketing efforts for food safety and HACCP programs in Las Vegas, and those are now offered around the world through classes and web based training. Locations have included Iraq, Afghanistan and Kuwait in the summer of 2009; the White House, Camp David, the Vice President's residence, Chief of Naval Operations residence, Commandant of the Marine Corps' quarters, Secretary of the Navy's office, and ships and bases from Okinawa, Japan to Bath, Maine. The company is owned and operated by Ed Manley, MCFP, CPFM, CHP, a career Naval Officer, hospital food service director, and graduate of the hotel school at Cornell University.
