With or without a class, you have choices:


Think of us like Food Safety Nation (like Auto Nation) - You may like the lines of a Chevy, or your family only buys Fords, but the fact is, they all work to get you from place A to place B.  Similarly, Prometric, the NRA and National Registry promote their own brands, but they are exactly equal in terms of local health departments accepting them.  So, your choice.  We prefer Prometric's CPFM, but we can do any of them.  We also offer a test with a more practical orientation for the workers, things you need to know without all the technical terms.

For MOST people, the local municipality requires a hands-on class or an approved CD or Web based program, of which we have one
, so whatever your need, we can get your food safety certified by the standards or recommendations of your local authority.

WHY GET CERTIFIED IN FOOD SAFETY?
     There are at least 2 reasons to get the CPFM designation.   
Reason 1 to get Food Safety Manager CertifiedThis credential helps in getting jobs, especially where holding such a certificate is a requirement by the state or county, as it is in Florida - someone holding this certificate must be on property during all hours of operation.  If this is your motivation, to get a certification which you can use to get a job or pass health department muster, what I have described should work.  
 
Reason 2 to get Food Safety Manager Certified.  You learn new and refresh old information in the process of studying for the exam.  Therefore, we require that you get the course manual so you can study and have it for later reference, and we recommend taking either our hands-on class or web-based training program.       

     If your motivation is to get as much in-depth information about food safety as you can, so you can teach or be THE food safety manager for your facility, then we strongly suggest a class.
